87. Al-A'la (19 Ayahs)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
Al-A'la • Ayah 2
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ ٢
EN · Sahih Intl. Who created and proportioned
Al-A'la • Ayah 3
وَٱ لَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ ٣
EN · Sahih Intl. And who destined and [then] guided
Al-A'la • Ayah 4
وَٱ لَّذِىٓ أَخۡرَجَ ٱ لۡمَرۡعَىٰ ٤
EN · Sahih Intl. And who brings out the pasture
Al-A'la • Ayah 5
فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَا ٓءً أَحۡوَىٰ ٥
EN · Sahih Intl. And [then] makes it black stubble.
Al-A'la • Ayah 6
سَنُقۡ رِئُكَ فَلَا تَنس َىٰٓ ٦
EN · Sahih Intl. We will make you recite, [O Muḥammad], and you will not forget,
Al-A'la • Ayah 7
إِلَّا مَا شَا ٓءَ ٱ للَّهُۚ إِنّ َهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱ لۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ ٧
EN · Sahih Intl. Except what Allāh should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.
Al-A'la • Ayah 8
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ ٨
EN · Sahih Intl. And We will ease you toward ease.1
Al-A'la • Ayah 9
فَذَكِّرۡ إِن ن َّفَعَتِ ٱ ل ذِّكۡرَىٰ ٩
EN · Sahih Intl. So remind, if the reminder should benefit;1
Al-A'la • Ayah 10
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن ي َخۡشَىٰ ١٠
EN · Sahih Intl. He who fears [Allāh] will be reminded.
Al-A'la • Ayah 11
وَيَتَجَنّ َبُهَا ٱ لۡأَشۡقَى ١١
EN · Sahih Intl. But the wretched one will avoid it
Al-A'la • Ayah 12
ٱلَّذِى يَصۡلَى ٱ ل نّ َارَ ٱ لۡكُبۡ رَىٰ ١٢
EN · Sahih Intl. [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire,
Al-A'la • Ayah 13
ثُمّ َ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحۡيَىٰ ١٣
EN · Sahih Intl. Neither dying therein nor living.
Al-A'la • Ayah 14
قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن ت َزَكَّىٰ ١٤
EN · Sahih Intl. He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself
Al-A'la • Ayah 15
وَذَكَرَ ٱ سۡمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ ١٥
EN · Sahih Intl. And mentions the name of his Lord and prays.
Al-A'la • Ayah 16
بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُونَ ٱ لۡحَيَو ٰ ةَ ٱ ل دُّنۡيَا ١٦
EN · Sahih Intl. But you prefer the worldly life,
Al-A'la • Ayah 17
وَٱ لۡأَخِرَةُ خَيۡرٌ و َأَبۡ قَىٰٓ ١٧
EN · Sahih Intl. While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.
Al-A'la • Ayah 18
إِنّ َ هَـٰ ذَا لَفِى ٱ ل صُّحُفِ ٱ لۡأُولَىٰ ١٨
EN · Sahih Intl. Indeed, this is in the former scriptures,
Al-A'la • Ayah 19
صُحُفِ إِبۡ رٰ
EN · Sahih Intl. The scriptures of Abraham and Moses.
