82. Al-Infitar (19 Ayahs)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
Al-Infitar • Ayah 2
وَإِذَا ٱ لۡكَوَاكِبُ ٱ نت َثَرَتۡ ٢
EN · Sahih Intl. And when the stars fall, scattering,
Al-Infitar • Ayah 3
وَإِذَا ٱ لۡبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتۡ ٣
EN · Sahih Intl. And when the seas are erupted
Al-Infitar • Ayah 4
وَإِذَا ٱ لۡقُبُورُ بُعۡثِرَتۡ ٤
EN · Sahih Intl. And when the [contents of] graves are scattered [i.e., exposed],
Al-Infitar • Ayah 5
عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٌ م َّا قَدَّمَتۡ وَأَخَّرَتۡ ٥
EN · Sahih Intl. A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.
Al-Infitar • Ayah 6
يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱ لۡإِنس َـٰ نُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱ لۡكَرِي مِ ٦
EN · Sahih Intl. O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,
Al-Infitar • Ayah 7
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّٮٰ كَ فَعَدَلَكَ ٧
EN · Sahih Intl. Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?
Al-Infitar • Ayah 8
فِىٓ أَىِّ صُورَةٍ م َّا شَا ٓءَ رَكَّبَكَ ٨
EN · Sahih Intl. In whatever form He willed has He assembled you.
Al-Infitar • Ayah 9
كَلَّا بَلۡ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱ ل دِّي نِ ٩
EN · Sahih Intl. No! But you deny the Recompense.
Al-Infitar • Ayah 10
وَإِنّ َ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَحَـٰ فِظِي نَ ١٠
EN · Sahih Intl. And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers,1
Al-Infitar • Ayah 11
كِرَامًا ك َـٰ تِبِي نَ ١١
EN · Sahih Intl. Noble and recording;
Al-Infitar • Ayah 12
يَعۡلَمُونَ مَا تَفۡعَلُو نَ ١٢
EN · Sahih Intl. They know whatever you do.
Al-Infitar • Ayah 13
إِنّ َ ٱ لۡأَبۡ رَارَ لَفِى نَعِي مٍ ١٣
EN · Sahih Intl. Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure,
Al-Infitar • Ayah 14
وَإِنّ َ ٱ لۡفُجَّارَ لَفِى جَحِي مٍ ١٤
EN · Sahih Intl. And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire.
Al-Infitar • Ayah 15
يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا يَوۡمَ ٱ ل دِّي نِ ١٥
EN · Sahih Intl. They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense,
Al-Infitar • Ayah 16
وَمَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا بِغَا ٓئِبِي نَ ١٦
EN · Sahih Intl. And never therefrom will they be absent.
Al-Infitar • Ayah 17
وَمَآ أَدۡ رَٮٰ كَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱ ل دِّي نِ ١٧
EN · Sahih Intl. And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?
Al-Infitar • Ayah 18
ثُمّ َ مَآ أَدۡ رَٮٰ كَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱ ل دِّي نِ ١٨
EN · Sahih Intl. Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?
Al-Infitar • Ayah 19
يَوۡمَ لَا تَمۡلِكُ نَفۡسٌ ل ِّنَفۡسٍ ش َيۡــًٔاۖ و َٱ لۡأَمۡرُ يَوۡمَئِذٍ ل ِّلَّهِ ١٩
EN · Sahih Intl. It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allāh.
