أَلَمۡ نَشۡرَحۡ لَكَ صَدۡ رَكَ ١
EN · Sahih Intl. Did We not expand for you, [O Muḥammad], your breast?1

94. Ash-Sharh (8 Ayahs)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
Ash-Sharh • Ayah 2
وَوَضَعۡنَا عَنك َ وِزۡرَكَ ٢
EN · Sahih Intl. And We removed from you your burden1
Ash-Sharh • Ayah 3
ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنق َضَ ظَهۡرَكَ ٣
EN · Sahih Intl. Which had weighed upon your back
Ash-Sharh • Ayah 4
وَرَفَعۡنَا لَكَ ذِكۡرَكَ ٤
EN · Sahih Intl. And raised high for you your repute.
Ash-Sharh • Ayah 5
فَإِنّ َ مَعَ ٱ لۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرًا ٥
EN · Sahih Intl. For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease [i.e., relief].
Ash-Sharh • Ayah 6
إِنّ َ مَعَ ٱ لۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرًا ٦
EN · Sahih Intl. Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
Ash-Sharh • Ayah 7
فَإِذَا فَرَغۡتَ فَٱ نص َبۡ ٧
EN · Sahih Intl. So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].
Ash-Sharh • Ayah 8
وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱ رۡغَب ٨
EN · Sahih Intl. And to your Lord direct [your] longing.
