101. Al-Qari'ah (11 Ayahs)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
Al-Qari'ah • Ayah 2
مَا ٱ لۡقَارِعَةُ ٢
EN · Sahih Intl. What is the Striking Calamity?
Al-Qari'ah • Ayah 3
وَمَآ أَدۡ رَٮٰ كَ مَا ٱ لۡقَارِعَةُ ٣
EN · Sahih Intl. And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity?
Al-Qari'ah • Ayah 4
يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱ ل نّ َاسُ كَٱ لۡفَرَاشِ ٱ لۡمَبۡ ثُو ثِ ٤
EN · Sahih Intl. It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed,1
Al-Qari'ah • Ayah 5
وَتَكُونُ ٱ لۡجِبَالُ كَٱ لۡعِهۡنِ ٱ لۡمَنف ُو شِ ٥
EN · Sahih Intl. And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up.1
Al-Qari'ah • Ayah 6
فَأَمّ َا مَن ث َقُلَتۡ مَوٰ
EN · Sahih Intl. Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],
Al-Qari'ah • Ayah 7
فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ ر َّاضِيَةٍ ٧
EN · Sahih Intl. He will be in a pleasant life.
Al-Qari'ah • Ayah 8
وَأَمّ َا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوٰ
EN · Sahih Intl. But as for one whose scales are light,
Al-Qari'ah • Ayah 9
فَأُمّ ُهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌ ٩
EN · Sahih Intl. His refuge1 will be an abyss.2
Al-Qari'ah • Ayah 10
وَمَآ أَدۡ رَٮٰ كَ مَا هِيَهۡ ١٠
EN · Sahih Intl. And what can make you know what that is?
Al-Qari'ah • Ayah 11
نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ ١١
EN · Sahih Intl. It is a Fire, intensely hot.
